Undefeated!

I wanted to make a T-shirt that screamed my childhood gamer life and i instantly thought of two things, Nintendo and old PC games. For some odd reason i thought of the old Windows PC game Ski Free , which you ski down an endless slope and avoid obstacles. However, the one obstacle that no one could pass was the much dreaded "Abominable Snow Monster". He would chase you down quickly and eat you...always...and that was his charm. I knew i had to make a T-shirt with him, it was unavoidable.



While searching for inspiration (aka Google image search) , i came across this beauty (unknown creator) :

Naturally being a Redditor, i knew i had to submit it. Little did i know that it would reach the front page of Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/dttkj/undefeated/ So great, now the snow monster went kinda viral and my t-shirt idea is going seem completely unoriginal.

I decided to continue with the project anyway and tried to mix things up yet keep the ""undefeated" idea. After much brainstorming, this is what i came up with:

I'm pretty happy with the outcome of the design, gave it some NES old box art parody and kept the lovable/hated snow monster taunt alive.

Smiths Is Dead

I wanted to recreate the T-shirt Morrissey was wearing and i think i got pretty close. A few friends wanted it so i made an account on www.redbubble.com and made the shirt.

I was inspired and decided to continue to try to recreate or at least come up with something similar to the shirt worn in the picture below:

The result came out a bit different but i actually like my design more, because bouquet were more associated with the smiths than roses...when i see red roses i think of Depeche Mode...

I'm pretty happy with the result.
